General Board Care

• After use, hand wash with a soapy damp cloth
• Wipe dry immediately after wash to prevent bowing
• NEVER put your board in a dishwasher
• NEVER submerge or 'soak' a board in water
• Apply wood oil every so often to ensure the longevity of your board

Use your board, enjoy it! Many people never get the experience of using their boards because they're afraid to 'ruin' them. Don't be afraid! Give it character so your board can tell a story.

Avoid acidic foods. These strip away the finish faster than regular use.

If your board becomes dry, or you want to refinish it, we recommend a food-safe blend of wax and oil.

We sell our own board refinishing kit - it will blend better with the remaining finish on the board. Our finsh is made with FDA approved food safe mineral oil and premium filtered yellow beeswax.

Refinishing Directions

• Clean board with mild soap and hot water
• Let it air dry completely before proceeding
• Reapply our food safe finish using the included special applicator pad
• Wait about 10 minutes for the finish to soak into the fibers
• Repeat if desired or if you still see dry spots
• Wipe away excess finish using a soft cloth
• Enjoy your newly finished board!
